Sparkle n’ Glow was not created in a boardroom. It was born from lived experience, frustration, healing, and a deep desire to help women feel confident in their own natural skin.
My journey began in 2016, when I started struggling with melasma, a skin condition that affects many women, especially those with melanin-rich and pigmentation-prone skin. What followed were years of trying mainstream skincare products that promised results but never truly worked for me.
Not because I didn’t try hard enough, but because my skin was never the priority.

Living With Melasma and Feeling Overlooked
For almost a decade, melasma affected more than just my skin. It affected how I showed up in the world.
I tried product after product, followed routines designed for “all skin types,” and trusted brands that claimed inclusivity. Yet my skin concerns were ignored, misunderstood, or treated as an afterthought.
Slowly, my confidence changed.
I found myself relying on cover-ups. Second-guessing myself. Feeling less comfortable in my own natural skin.
That experience taught me something powerful: skincare is never just skincare. It’s emotional. It’s personal. And when your skin is ignored, it can make you feel invisible too.
Why Confidence Is Not a Luxury
I believe every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin — without cover-ups, filters, or apologies.
Confidence is not a luxury. For us, confidence is a tool.
It is the driving force that makes us bolder. It pushes us to take risks, chase our dreams, and go after everything we want for ourselves. When we are confident, we are more daring — and when we are daring, we are far more likely to succeed.
Melasma once dimmed that confidence for me. But the desire to reclaim it never left.
Creating the Skincare Brand I Needed
Sparkle n’ Glow was created because I could not find skincare that truly understood my needs as a woman with melanin-rich skin dealing with hyperpigmentation and melasma.
So I decided to build it.
This brand exists to support women whose skin has been overlooked by mainstream beauty. It is rooted in the belief that skincare should restore confidence, not take it away.
Through Sparkle n’ Glow, I didn’t just start caring for my skin differently — I started believing in myself again.
And with that belief came boldness.
My Daughter Sky: My Daily Reminder of Confidence
One of my greatest inspirations is my three-year-old daughter, Sky.
Sky is absolutely certain of who she is. She believes she is a princess — and in her world, that means she deserves whatever she dreams of. There is no doubt, no hesitation, no shrinking.
Watching her reminds me of who I am when I feel confident.Fearless. Sure. Unapologetic.
When melasma affected my confidence years ago, I lost touch with that version of myself. But Sparkle n’ Glow helped me reconnect with her. Today, I pursue my dreams with clarity, courage, and boldness, not because my skin is perfect, but because my confidence has returned.
Sparkle n’ Glow Is More Than Skincare
Sparkle n’ Glow is more than a skincare brand.
It is for every woman who has felt unseen by the beauty industry. For every woman who has doubted herself because of her skin. For every woman choosing to believe in herself again.
This brand exists to remind you that your natural skin is worthy of care, respect, and love. Your confidence matters. And when you feel confident in your skin, you move differently — you dream bigger and go further.
Sparkle n’ Glow is about glowing skin, yes —but more importantly, it’s about glowing with confidence.
